THE STORY BEHIND
My name's Mike Thoma and like most people in this line of work, I started at an early age. Using my father’s tools, I would take stuff apart, and “fix it or make it better."
It did not take long to prove my abilities and to get gifted my own set of tools to start my collection (Okay, maybe my father just wanted his tools “where he put them”).
I have always been a person that family and friends contact when things need repair, they need things installed, or they just want some advice.
My experience comes from having grown up (AKA: “cheap Labor”) in a family-owned electrical business, assisting in building several family and friend’s cabins and houses, owning and maintaining rental properties, purchasing and renovating properties, installation and service of CNC operated bandsaws, owning, operating, and maintaining car washes, building and installing over 75 car washes including ancillary equipment around the world, managing the operation and addition of automation of a snack food manufacturer.
In my current role, I manage maintenance, safety, facility, and grounds of an over 117,000 square foot manufacturing facility complete with machine shop and assembly.
